David's interests lie in the production and presentation of visual media and how it affects people; he has a specific interest in the power of the human face. Since joining the Future Content Group in 2000, he has applied these interests to a range of projects including systems for 3D television content creation, instant messenger client design, video conferencing and automatic content understanding. In several of these projects David has collaborated with the MIT Media Lab.

David has recently joined the Media Interfaces group.
